關於Audrey
I am a graduate with a bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education and a licensed professional teacher in the Philippines. I have extensive experience teaching children, teenagers, and adults in diverse learning environments. I have taught university students and working professionals who aim to pass the TOEIC test for academic or career advancement. My teaching experience covers multiple proficiency levels, allowing me to adapt my methods to each learner’s needs. Most of my students come from Asian countries, including Taiwan, South Korea, China, and Japan, which has helped me understand common ESL challenges and apply effective, culturally responsive teaching strategies successfully.

This course uses a Socratic style of teaching that encourages students to think critically through guided questions. Instead of simply giving answers, I ask students to explain ideas, justify opinions, and reflect on their language choices. This process helps students recognize both their strengths and the limits of their current English ability. By observing how they respond, I can identify gaps in vocabulary, grammar, fluency, and confidence. Based on these observations, I provide appropriate support, adjustments, and targeted practice. The goal is to develop independent thinkers who are aware of their learning needs and motivated to improve over time consistently.
