Hi there! I am a Filipino-Chinese native English speaker and current Grade 11 international school student in Taiwan. Having moved to Taiwan at age ten and attended local elementary and middle schools before transitioning to an international curriculum, I am fully quadrilingual in English, Chinese, Tagalog, and Fukien. I have consistently ranked at the top of my English classes, and I am passionate about helping others achieve that same level of fluency and confidence.
As a natural extrovert who loves socializing, my teaching style is centered around immersion and real-life connection. I believe the best way to learn is by doing. We can spend our sessions focusing on formal tutoring, homework help, and academic writing, or we can simply spend time hanging out and speaking English naturally. Whether we are grabbing a coffee (I’m a huge coffee lover!), discussing music, or even hitting the court to talk while playing basketball or volleyball, I provide a high-energy environment where English feels fun, not like a chore.
As a varsity athlete and musician who plays the guitar and sings, I love getting to know people and their interests. I can help you with your school assignments using the high standards I apply to my own studies, or we can just chat to perfect your accent and flow. Hi there! I am a native English speaker currently in Grade 11 at an international school here in Taiwan. Because I am a student myself, I offer a unique and relatable approach to learning English that goes far beyond traditional textbooks and boring grammar drills.
My goal is to help you feel completely confident and natural when speaking. My teaching style is highly flexible and centered around immersion. This means we can spend our time together however suits you best: we can focus on formal tutoring to improve your academic writing, school assignments, and grammar, or we can simply spend time hanging out and speaking English naturally.
Whether we are grabbing a coffee, walking around, or discussing your favorite hobbies, I provide a relaxed environment where you can practice real-world conversation. I can help you with your homework and proofread your essays using the high standards I use in my own schooling, or we can just chat to improve your flow and accent.
